Verdict (specs only) Need more watt-hours, expansion, and 1000 W solar on the sheet? DELTA 2 Max (2048 Wh, 2400 W / X-Boost to 3400 W, 23 kg, expandable). Want a lighter sealed carry with a 2000 W inverter and Jackery’s 6000+ cycle marketing? Explorer 1500 v2 (1536 Wh, 2000 W / 4000 W surge, 31.97 lb). Capacity is not a tie — EcoFlow stores more energy on paper. We did not test either unit.

Capacity gap

DELTA 2 Max lists 2048 Wh. Explorer 1500 v2 lists 1536 Wh. That ~500 Wh gap is a real night of fridge/router math before you talk about expansion batteries on the EcoFlow side.

Expandable vs sealed

EcoFlow markets Extra Battery kits that scale DELTA 2 Max into the multi-kWh class. Jackery’s 1500 v2 PDP blocks we used do not claim expansion. Buy once vs buy a path — same fork as every other expandable duel on this site.

Inverter and solar

DELTA 2 Max: 2400 W continuous with X-Boost up to 3400 W, 1000 W solar. Explorer 1500 v2: 2000 W / 4000 W surge; max PV input was not fully tabulated on the marketing blocks we used (SolarSaga kits appear in bundles). EcoFlow wins solar headroom on the sheets; Jackery’s surge number is higher.

Weight

EcoFlow: 23 kg (~50.7 lb). Jackery: 31.97 lb. Jackery is the clearer one-person carry on paper despite lower watt-hours.
