CPAP watt-hour math only

If a power interruption could cause harm, talk to a clinician and use equipment specified for that job. This page is arithmetic using a published power-supply spec, nothing else.

People still type “CPAP generator” into a search box. The only honest thing we can add is: look at the power-supply numbers, multiply by hours, and leave a margin. We are not telling you to run therapy from a camping battery.

Those “typical” and “peak” figures are manufacturer electrical specs for the 65 W supply, often with humidifier and heated tube in the test condition. Real draw with humidity off is often lower — we do not have a Ranked measurement, so we will not invent 20 W. If you need a number for math practice, use the published typical 56.1 W and treat it as conservative.

Arithmetic only

Energy per 8-hour night at 56.1 W: 56.1 × 8 = 448.8 Wh at the device. Through an 85% efficient AC inverter: 448.8 / 0.85 ≈ 528 Wh from the battery.

Inverter watts: 73.2 W peak is far below every AC inverter on this site. The constraint is energy, not watts — if someone were using AC. A DC cable (where the manufacturer supports it) avoids inverter loss; we are not certifying any DC cable for a therapy device.

Again: this is not a recommendation to power a CPAP from a portable station. Manufacturer medical disclaimers exist for a reason.
